Tom Willetts

I've been an active member of the society since the start of my first year, and spent a year of the subsequent time as events co-ordinator on the exec. As such I have become very familiar with the functions of the society, and the behind the scenes work required.

As a regular attendee of national events I will be able to ensure that the society remains at the centre of British foos, as well as network with other societies and the BFA. This will help with the organisation of university matches and national tournaments.

During my time on the exec this year, I've been responsible for many events including last year's end of year tournament, the freshers tournament and the Oxford match earlier this year. I've also contributed in meetings regarding this year's Warwick Open. I've assisted with recruitment at the freshers fair, and attended the vast majority of society activities and meetings.

If I am elected president my main areas of focus will be publicity and recruitment. I have shown by my attempts in the past to introduce new recreational players to the game and the society how important I believe recruitment to be. I believe that with our new union location we can attract many new members, which will be crucial to the survival of the society.

I think I would provide the enthusiasm and experience the position requires, as well as the ability to listen to the advice of the exec, effectively chair meetings, delegate tasks sensibly and fairly, and make decisions for the good of the society.

Steve Cordle

I reckon I'd be good on the exec because I have the organisational and interpersonal skills to make a good job of it; sadly, I've probably got the free time for it too.

Also, I'd really quite like a key to the table.

I've frequently come to and enjoyed the weekly Foosball sessions, and as a regular member feel that I should contribute to the running of the society next year.
