Singles Competition

Current Standings

The singles competition was introduced to counter the lack of singles games played in the society, and also to give another way for members to get to know each other. This year it is a ladder format. The competition is co-ordinated by the exec to keep it running smoothly, but competitors are expected to contact each other to arrange times to play matches. People often choose to play their matches during the weekly sessions, but this is by no means necessary and we encourage players to arrange their matches for times throughout the week. For more details follow the above link.

In the last three years the singles competition has been a 'double-elimination' knockout tournament. To see the results of these past competitions see the hall of fame on the right.
